"Whose on the Throne" - 12.10.2023

We've read that scripture many many times growing up. We talked the Christmas story a king a babe in a Manger three wise men. Today, let's look at that story just a little bit difference. I want to see the big spin the big picture the big picture of the scripture what I saw in the city was a battle. Hope to Kings of two kingdoms. fighting for the throne

out of my message today is who's on the throne today? Can you bury a man of Flesh? desires all power will do whatever he has to do to keep it.

the king of glory a babe in the manger The one that will free his people from sin and bondage.

She currently King Herod is on the throne. And this babe, I promise has been born in herod's Kingdom. And it's at the Kingdom upside down. No, three wise men or what these wise men are asking about the promised King. Where should he be? And like Harrods going to be excited that there's this new King in town. Can you imagine how we felt? This King sitting on the throne.

Put yourself in that spot. He was praised. He was worshipped. He was cater to and now this promised King arrives and shows up on his watch. Come on, man. Like most Kings he's not going to share his glory with another. He's not going to share his throne with another. Show me steps of plan. defined and to eliminate this King He says to the wise men when you find them. Send word. So I can come and worship him too. We're in a minute, but God. God was in it lady. Hallelujah the wise men Departed.

And they went home a different way as not to report the location.

So, you know, what King Herod was you got free Angry you got pretty ticked off.

Could you imagine that?

Have you been watching the news lately? Why does every single one of those children could be that King who was going to overthrow overtake and take his kingdom away from him and his throne.

Little possibilities were murdered. They might have been Kings. They might have been princess. They might have been lawyers. They might have been Father's Day Flippin Farmers what they were saying, they were cut down at the age of Innocence.

now in the city death and weeping and morning because of that death I wonder if you can see the big picture. I wonder if you could see the whole story. Can you see the parallel this Christmas Story. You are experiencing today.

You see our hearts. I like that City. They're like that Kingdom.

we that's you and I we were born into sin and we were born into bondage. So Long by the man of Flesh.

Know Who You Are That's the first step in understanding where you got to go.

The one who plucks but never plants. the one who takes but never gives The one is served. But never has served. then by the grace of God a promise was born into the kingdom of our hearts. To set us free.

To give us life. To give us life. more abundantly but two Can I sit on once Road?

Come on now. There's a battle in the Kingdom Church.

There's a battle in the Kingdom. There's a fight taking place Saints. There's a fight taking place saying don't you think that you're going to wake up in the morning and not have a battle to face just cuz who you are just because of who you accepted just buy the one that you are following you are in a battle for the rest of your life.

And in the middle in the middle of that battle are the possibilities of Hope. The possibilities of Peace joy and love and potential Miracles look at yourself and look at it.

preachers and teachers and songwriters and and singers in Steelers and Prophets Look at yourself. But it all hinges on who's sitting on the throne in your life.

Will there be laughter? Will there be joy and I'm talking pure joy. I'm not talking Joy that's going to last five minutes because you're hanging with a boyfriend or girlfriend your spouse hanging with your kids for 10 minutes. And you get that shows that you say I can never be happier in this moment in my life, but you can have that for the rest of your life. If you're hanging with Teresa, if you're hanging with the one that cares for you is the one that will set you free.

Who were the weeping? Will really be morning. Because of lost opportunity because of a lost.

Lost lost missing in in in your soul in your mind because you missed out on something. Or because you failed at something.

who's on the throne in your heart today?

Who do you live for? everyday Who do you live for when you wake up?

Do you say thank you.

What do you wake up in the ghetto phone with Cheerios?

Who's on your mind who's on your mind throughout the day?

Who's on your mind when you set your head down at night?

Is it self? What do I got to do? What did I do today? What do I got to do tomorrow?

Or you saying thank you Jesus. Thank you. Jesus for letting me get when I was able to get done today.

Please Jesus give me tomorrow so I can continue on with my mission.

Or is it the king of a promise?

And what promise me come alive in the next day?

We are products of the flesh people relations. 519 says works of the flesh are these Stripes Edition truck in this?

All those things that comes so easy to the man of Flesh.

If you're not busy with Jesus, if you're not busy in the Bible that it gets room for all these things to come into your brain.

What potential? What life is there in these things?

What is the hope of The Flash?

the Flesh of man No, hope for your marriage. No. Hope for your family's no hope for your careers or your relationships. No potential for problems. Just more problems.

What's the world right now?

Do what feels good?

It's pulling you. It's pulling you in every single day. It's through your work mates. It's your friends. Hey with the fellowship of believers.

And there's nothing worse than Church hurt because you will sometimes be dragged down by church people. Who are walking the different path?

Express Yourself do it feels good for yourself. Look at the world today.

There's a boy and there's a girl. there's a man and there's a woman you are what you are no matter how much makeup you put on no matter how long you grow your hair no matter how brutally They destroy the beautiful body that God gave you you are born a man and you are born a woman.

but the Fruit of the Spirit the fruit of the spirit is love. Is joy is peace long-suffering gentleness goodness face meekness temperance. I know there is potential of Promise in love. This potential and joy and peace to cannot sit on the throne.

The Bible says in verse 17 the Galatians 5. It says the Bible says that they are contrary to one another they are opposites of one another one must live in one must die where there is light. There is no Darkness.

Look for the mind that is set on the flesh. Is hostile to God?

It does not submit to God's laws. indeed they cannot to be carnally minded is death. But to be spiritually minded is a life in peace. And this is my request. This is my please this is my want for every single one of you today. This is my one for every parent to tell every child is this is the way this is a life. This is the truth.

There was no peace in the Kingdom because the spiritual man the life-giver was put in the manger and the man of Flesh was on the throne.

Matthew 2:19 Reeves when the man of the flesh died then Christ could go into the land of Israel. That is where is Ministry began? and that is where he found his disciples and he did his miracles.

Today there are Miracles and promises for you. What's the first the Flesh in your heart Must Die?

And the king of promise mesentery. I'm closing today. Does your life seem in balanced?

His piece missing from your life. Get Jesus out of the manger.

And put them all in your throat.

What's wrong with this world sinks? I'll tell you. Jesus is still in the manger.

Jesus is in the front yard.

Jesus is hanging from your rear-view mirror. Jesus is tattooed on your arm somewhere. What do you need to be in the Throne of your heart? That's where you got to bring up. That's where you got to open up your mind. That's where you got to say Jesus. I want you to see this. I need you there is no other king before you you are the first you are. You are my life. I am following you Jesus.

people come And they visited once a year. They bring them gifts a promises. They bring them Gifts of Allegiance and Promises of of sacrifice. I will lose weight today Lord.

I will quit smoking. I will stop drinking.

I will stop doing drugs.

But it never makes it to the throne room.

Who's on your throne today?

Who is on your throne when you wake up?

Who is on your throne during the day when you're battling the world?

Who is on your throne when you that you're ahead? down on the pillow

I would be remiss if I I didn't ask that if anybody doesn't know Jesus.
